HUTT VALLEY PRODUCERS
• The annual meeting of the Hutt Valley Producers' Association, Ltd., was held <in the Knox Schoolroom, Lower Hutt, Jast week. There was a large attendance of members and three new members were elected. The annual report showed that everything possible was being done to further Ihe interests of the: association. During .the year regulations were gazetted to provide for the standardisation of cases, a matter which will assist growers considerably in obtaining better and more uniform prices for their produce. 'The balance-sheet was read and approved. It showed that, despite the conditions ruling at present, the association ■ had a credit balance. The election of officers resulted as follows:—President, Mr. W. Copping; vicepresident, Mr. F. Ferretti: secretary and treasurer, Air. W. A. Kerr; executive ■committee. Messrs. M. Pescini, F. Josephs, .A. J. Tilbury, B. H. Haywood,. A. J. 'Stedman, and E. Bavtosh.
