PURCHASES BY BOARD
Ail announcement that the New Zealand Broadcasting Board was purchasing copies of British Broadcasting Corporation recorded programmes, samples of which were already on hand, was made last evening by the general manager of the board, ilr. & 'G. Hands. At. .in early date, said Mr. Hands, listeners would havo an opportunity of hearing first-class English artists throught the medium of most excellent recordings. As with some other types of records, there were restrictions, as to the'number of times the recorded programmes could be broadcast.
