TARIFF COMMISSION
POINTS BEING PREPARED
(By Telegraph.—Preso Association.) .AUCKLAND, This Day. The Auckland Chamber of Commerce has decided to tender evidence to the Tariff Commission on broad issues, and it appointed a committee to prepare ment, upon the following subjects:— Basis of currency conversion for duty purposes, appeals against Minister's decision under the Customs Act, the sliding scale of wheat and flour duties, and the removal of the surtax on goods from all British countries. Tjic statement before going before the Commission must bo approved by the chamber.
