His younger brother. Tossy, is a violinist of International reputation,. and is particularly popular in Germauy, where be resided for several years prior to the formation of tho trio. His tono is said to be extraordinarily sweet and delicate, while he pos-_ sesscs a more than adequate technical equipment. Mr. Edmund Kurtz has played In nearly all the Europoan countries and is regarded as pre-eminent among the younger 'cellists of tho day. Tonight's programme will Include (lie celebrated Schubert Trio in B Flat, and other ensembles, while each artist will contribute a group of solos. The second and third concerts will bo. given on Saturday and Monday nights. Tho box plan arrangements are advertised. ■
