SUPEKANNUATION
TEACHERS' SUGGESTIONS
■ Superannuation was one. of the matters dealt with by the Technical School Teachers' Association yesterday at its annual meeting, at which Mr. W. G-. Aldridge, M.A., presided. The following remits were approved;,-?. "That teachers who were debarred flora joining the superannuation fund at the beginning of their service be permitted "to count such non-contributory service on condition that they pay back-subscrip-tions with interest." "That this conference hopes that during the next session of Parliament the Government will take steps to stabilise the I superannuation fund." . . - . '■That the conference approves of. the principle of reciprocation between countries in 'superannuation matters." .'•That the executive. consider the report of the committee set up by Parliament on the Superannuation Amendment Bill and any further action by the Government with1 regatid'to superannuation before next conference, and that after obtaining fully representative opinion -from all interests of members, it make such further representations as seem neces-
