PRESBYTERIAN COLLEGES
The annual reports and balance-sheets of Scots and Queen Margaret Colleges were received by the Wellington Presbytery at its last meeting. Mr. A. P. Smith, chairman of Scots College Board, assured the Presbytery that the prestige of the college stood very high in the community, and that the present financial"difficulties common to all private schools were being faced with confidence. The Rev. J. R. Blanchard, vice-chairman of the* board of Queen Margaret College, also spoke, and ipferred to the board's confidence in Miss Wilson as principal. "Wherever one sees the school colours of blue, black, and gold about the city one sees also the influence, of true culture and womanly refinement," concluded Mr. Blanchard.
