FATE STILL IN DOUBT
(Received May 10, 2 p.m.) LONDON, May 9. In the House of Commons, Mr. .J. H. Thomas (the Dominions Secretary), replying to Mr. Louis Smith, said •he thought the Empire Marketing Board had been of considerable advantage to the Empire. He offered at Ottawa to continue 'it till September, ■ but th» Dominions took a different view. ■ ■ • Sir H. Samuel (Lab.): Is the board to be discontinued?, Mr. Thomas: The Economic Committee's report does not recommend continuance. The Government is now considering flic whole matter.
