LONDON, May 9. • The editor of "Sporting Life," in a front page ' pronouncement' headed "Crime Against Cricket," protests against the sedulous attempts by a section of the Press to cause permanent friction between the cricket authorities in England and in Australia. He adds: "1 can to some extent sympathise with Larwood, "but his remarks were illtimed, unwise, provocative, and were not cricket." . ' , '
