OTAKI HEALTH CAMP
As a result of the recent Press appeal the Wellington Children's Health Camp Association desire to acknowledge the contributions made to their fund. The scheme of financing the camp was organised on the group principle. Staffs of the following firms are contributing, and the association acknowledges their efforts as follows: — Staff Dunlop Rubber Company, staff Electricity Department, staff Education Board, staff Ford Sales and Service, Ltd., staff Gollin and Co., master and crew s.s. Kaimai, master and crew s.s. Karepo, Pioneer Club, Wellington-Returned Soldiers' Association, Trained Nurses Club, McDuffs, Ltd., staff, Working Men's Club, staff T. and W. Young, Ltd., Rotary Club, staff Vacuum Oil Company, Wellington South Nursing Division. St. John Ambulance Association, staff Construction Department Harbour Board, staff Head Office, Harbour Board, staff A. S. Paterson and Co., staff Messrs. Woohvorth, staff Wright, Stephensons, Ltd., Big Tree Oil Staff, A. S. Paterson and Co. Grants of £35 from the Red Cross Society towards the cost of improving the present laundry and hot water system, from the Smith Family, £60, and from the Mayor's Distress Relief Fund, £10, are specially acknowledged.
