MAGISTRATE'S COURT
Cases at the Magistrate's Court were dealt with today by Mr. E. Page, S.M. A remand for one week was granted in the case of Albert Durant, aged 43, who was charged with breaking and entering the warehouse of McGowan and McGee, Ltd. William McDaid, a second offender for drunkenness, was fined 10s, in default three days' imprisonment. Ronald Luigi Beretti, aged 30, was remanded until May 17 on a charge of indecently assaulting a male. Having entered a plea of guilty, Charles Frederick Ammon was remanded until Monday on a charge of stealing 10s, the property of Francis Herbert Goodwin. He was similarly remanded on a charge of j.mlawfully trespassing on the Hutt Park racecourse during a trotting meeting,
