The suspected doping of the pony ■ Michael Feeney at Ascot a week ago resulted in the .owner-trainer, Fercy JfiuteH, ya-1 terday beingj disqualified for life for im-l proper conduct. His brother, Loo, vrho! allegedly gave the pony v drinlc from it 1 bottle prior to the running of the Kivcr I Ifcindicap, was also found guilty of iin- ' proper conduct, and the stewards will re-1 cominciid that he be warned off the Ascot [ course for life. The pony was suspended for twelve months. Martell has given notice o£ appeal.
