An L.G.U. medal round played by the Shandon Ladies' Club during the weekend saw Miss Hodgins return the best card in the senior division, net 88. In the juniors Miss D. Press was best with 89 net.. The semi-finals for the Odlin Trophy played off '< during the weekend: J. B. Melvin' (14) beat M. R. Bowring (G), 3 and 1; and K. Jeft'ery (8) beat F. Desmond (15), 3 and 1.
