PRICE OF TREASURY BILLS
(British Official Wireless.) " RUGBY, May 5. Tenders for £5,0,000,000 of 2% per cent, conversion loan, 1944-49, and Treasury bills were opened at the Bank of England today. I A total sum of £87,230,000 was applied for, also £3,400,000 conversicn loan, and £46,600,000 in bills were allotted. Applii cants for the loan at £94 3s and above received ■in full: For: bills dated 92' days, Monday to Friday, tenderers at £99 17s received about 24 per cent, of their applications. Tenderers above that price received in full. Applicants for those bills dated-91 days, Saturday, at £99 17s' 9d j and above received in full.
