Eye veils aro attractive and becoming, but to be smart they must look i absolutely fresh. Garden cano cut into short pieces and padded with something soft makes good rollers for tho veils, j which sllould be stretched • gently and i wound round the rod over a strip of thin tissue paper.. This should bo. done immddiatcly the veil is, removed, the veils, being kept in a drawer or box by themselves. If tho pristine beauty has gone from a favourite piece the following method of rejuvenation has often been found 'successful:—The veil is pinned into shapo' on, a thick towel and brushed" over with a soft brush dipped in tho following mixture:.— - A scant teaspoonful of gum dissolved in a tcacupful of warm tea (without milk) and used when cold. 'This restores colour and firmness.
