SPIVAKOVSKY-KURTZ RECITALS.
On Monday morning plans will be opened at The Bristol Piano Co. for the three concerts to be Riven in the Town Hall on Thursday and Saturday next and Monday, 17th inst., by the celebrated Splvalcovsky-Kurtz trio of Instrumentalists. Recalling the profound Impression made by Mr. Jaseha Splvakovsky when ho.toured New Zealand in 1922, it may .safely be assumed that a great many music-lovers will bo anxious to hear tho famous pianist again. ■ At the, age of, 21 he was already an Interpretative" artist of . mature. judgment and insight. His remarkable technique was merely a means to an end, and it may be ■ expected that his development will, have- been In accord with the highest .musical culture. .Associated with the pianist are his younger brother, Tossy Spivakovsky, a violinist of international repute, and1 Edmund Kurtz, 'cellist, whoso playing has won the enthusiastic praise of Press critics in Sydney, where the trio has just concluded a most successful season.
