An advertisement in this issue invites tenders for the lease of portion of railway reserve between Tawa Flat and Porirua. The reserve ,is good ' grazing ' land. Nelson relics sold at Christie's auction rooms in London recently, included a telescope presented to Midshipman Pollard for having shot the Swiss sniper who had been specially instructed to kill Nelson. Nelson was shot at 20 minutes past 1 o'clock on the day of the Battle of Trafalgar, and Pollard killed the Swiss just on the half-hour.
