CARILLON RECITALS.
In commemoration of the Battle of Kritliia. which was fought on Galhpoh rcninsula in May. Wls» iulti in which the Xew Zealand Infantry Brigade participated a special recital was given. on the National War Memorial Carillon this after. noon, commencing at i o clock, when the carillonist, Miss Gladys Watkina, played the following programme:—Hour chime; the bell "Palestine" (sounded eight times); "Annie Lsuiric''; "Come, Lasses and Lads" (17th century); "Tom Bowling": Entr'acte from "Kosamonde" (Schubert); "Somewhere a Voice is Calling" (Tate); Minuet and Trio (Mozart); "When Other Lips" (Balfe); the bell "Palestine"; National Anthem. The following will be the programme for tomorrow, commencing at 3.30 p.m.:— Half-hour chime; hymn, ■ "Praise, My Soul"; Largo (Handel); "Swing Low Sweet Chariot" (Negro Spiritual); "Cherry Ripe" (Horn); lijmn, "Once in Royal David's City"; "Marelio Turqne" (Mozart); "Afton Water" (Scotch); "Aye Maria" (Den'yn); Air from "Martha" (Flotow); National Anthem.
