' ' (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) . AUCKLAND, This Day. Auckland had its first taste of winter1 last night; when a sovoro thunderstorm anil heavy rain wero experienced. The electric disturbance affected tlio power system, and for an hour and. a half most of Oncliuuga was in darkness. Some other districts were affected for a few minutes. Heavy showers, with a little hail, fell this morning.
