A CHINESE MARSHAL
COLOMBO, April 25. Marshal Chang Hsueh-liang, the former commander of tho Chinese forces in Johol and Northern China, expressed a desire to sco Gandhi when he arrived at Colombo today on his way to Italy. "I am a pacifist in the sense that I never encouraged civil war in China," said Chang. "I resigned my command because there was no* financial support."
