JUDGE WORRIED
CASE OF A YOUNG MAN
"I-''am voty worried over this case. I shall take the weekend to think over1 it," said Mr. Justice Blair in tho Supreme Court today when Henry Martin Murphy, . aged 24, appeared before him for- sentence. Murphy had been found guilty, with a very strong recommendation to mercy, of a charge of unlawful carnal knowledge. Mr. A. J. Mazengarb, counsel for Murphy, emphasised certain features which he claimed removed the case from the ordinary case of its kind. He mentioned among other things that Murphy, from hia sense of right and wrong, had gone to the police voluntarily and had been his own accuser. /His Honour said he would remand Murphy until Monday morning, and said he would see what he could do.
