SERIOUS TROUBLE UNLIKELY
TOKIO, May 1. Officials belittle the alarmist report! from Harbin in regard to the Manchu-kuo-Soviet dispute threatening to develop into a situation endangering peace. A spokesman to the Press stated that serious trouble was unlikely.. Manchukuo is asking for amend* ments to the Chinese Eastern Railway ( agreement because the Soviet has prevented Manchukuo officials from equitable participation, in the management.
