CITY PROPERTY DEAL
, 'Another city property has just changed hands, MaqDuffs Ltd. having purchased from Middows Bros, and Taylor, Ltd.> their building known as 54-58 Dixon Street. The property has a frontage of 63 feet to Dixon Street and'a depth of 50 feet, and has been occupied partly by MacDufl's, Ltd., and partly.by the owners. This purchase gives Mao Duffs control of a large block, and, it is understood that they have already commenced considerable alterations and extensions of their present premises. The pi-ice paid is not disclosed, but is believed- to be in the vicinity of £15,000. The sale ivas negotiated by Mr. E. B. Walker.
