REQUEST FOR REPORTS
(Special to "The Evening Post.") . MASTEETON, This Day. With the exception of one under the leadership of Mr. C. Wylic, all the search parties havo now returned to Mustcrton. Mr; Wylie's party is expected back today. The base camp established at Mitre Flats will not be broken up until the party is accounted for. There are three in Mr. Wylie's party, and three men at the base, camp. Messrs. W. B. Blanche, W. Neil, and J; Butcher, members of tho Tararua Tramping Club, arrived in Mastcrton last evening after crossing the ranges from, the Levin, side "Wo can. only learn by experience, and %h& knowledge we have gained in tho past week will prove invaluable in the future, but it is essential that it should be noted for reference or else it obviously'will be lost sight of," .observed Mr. W. L. Free <lt a meeting of the Masterton Search Committee, held last night to consider, final details in connection with the settling' of accounts and the recalling of the searching parties. It was decided on -the motion of Mr. Free that the leaders of all search parties be asked to submit written reports oa the country traversed, the names of tho members of their parties, and details of tho food and equipment used, and that tho reports be filed for future reference. Mr. Free considered that such a movo was highly important, an opinion which other members of thoconmiittco endorsed. ■ . It was also resolved that an effort be made to secure proper correlation between !the various organisations which have been associated in the search for the missing trampors. It; was felt that some mutual arrangement should be reached between tho Mastorton, Wellington, Palmcrston, and Levin Irainpcrs, and that tho Tararuas-should be subdivided into definite areas. Cooperation, it was stated, was essential when conducting a search for missing trampcrs. ,
