Although he was the last to leave the barrier, High Commissioner wa« asked to make a sharp move forward at the half-mile post in the Bombay Hurdles at the Franklin Meeting, and he hit the front just before the home turn, then cleared out. to, win by half a dozen lengths.Free Air went a nice race to fill second berth, but bad to do her best to beat the big outsider Master Roley. Arch Eagle stopped quickly when going well, and Biform»was making a rapid forward move when- he fell on the flat less than three furlongs from home. Both the, winner and runner-up figure in the Great Northern Hurdles. High Commissioner has' 9.5 and Free Air 0.3, and; going on the ease with which the former woo oh Saturday one could not entirely dismiss him from calculations in the big Ellerelio event. Free Aiij is allowed 81b in the Great Northern Hurdles for her defeat by High. Commissioner.
