SAVINGS BANK DEPOSITS
OTTAWA, April 20,
A reduction from 3 per cent, to 2J per cent, in interest rates on savings bank deposits in Canada, effective from May 1, was announced tonight by the Minister of Finance, the Hon. E. N. Rhodes.
