EMPIRE THEATRE, ISLAND BAY.
"The Painted Desert," a Pathe special production, will bo screened at the Empire Theatre this evening. An all-star cast Includes Bill Boydj Clark Gable, Helen Twcivetrces, and William ' Farnum. The story concerns a feud between two old Arizona pioneers and the romaneo of their children. The stampede of a herd of five hundred cattle, and a deathdefying race of twenty-mulo teams are among the thrilling incidents.
