Tenders for £50,000,000 of the 2% per centV conversion-loan: 1944-1949.and Treasury bills were opened today at _the Bank of England. The total amount applied for was £68,822,300. Amounts . allotted were: Conversion loan, £4,500,000; in bills at three months, £45,500,000. Tenders were accepted as follows:— From April 24 to 29, 1933, for -conversion loan at £94 2s 6d, about 89' per cent, above in full; for bills at three months, dated. Monday to Saturday, at £99 17s 6d about' 33 per cent, above in full. Conversion loan average price per cent, was £94.2s 7v.61d.. Throe, months bills average rate per cent. 0/6.3.
