A 1 decision to issue up to 500 free passes each Saturday to unemployed on similar lines -.-to last season has been made by the management committee of the Auckland Rugby Union. .... The weekly meeting of the management eonvmitteo of the Wellington Rugby Union will be held on Monday night next week owing to Tuesday being Anzac Day. The Canterbury Eugby Union will issue 550 free passes, EiOO to be distributed to unemployed men and-50 to unemployed women. The Rugby game is making good progress in South Australia, and it-is expected that more than eight teams will participate in the Adelaide competitions this season. The University is the stronghold of the game, «nd will field two teams. A match with Melbourne University has been arranged for August.
