CANTERBURY SEMI-FINALS
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, April 21. Surprise defeats today, in the Canterbury women's golE championship were those of Miss O. Kayand Mrs. Dodgshun, both of Otago, and both former Dominion champion's. Mrs. Dodgshun was beaten by Mrs. H. Loughnan, 1 up, after the Otago player had been 3 up with 4 to play./ Miss Kay was well below her best form when she was beaten by Miss V. Fleming, 2 up, but Miss Fleming played a sound round. The final will be played tomorrow.
