A national ballot of the membership of tho Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants throughout New Zealand for the position of president for the 1933-35 period has been completed. The candidates ■wore Messrs. E. J. Dash, the retiring president, of Timaru, and M. Connolly (Duncdin).
