MR. E. J. DASH RE-ELECTED
A national ballot of the membership of tho Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants throughout New Zealand for the position of president for the 1933-35 period has been completed. The candidates ■wore Messrs. E. J. Dash, the retiring president, of Timaru, and M. Connolly (Duncdin). At N a by-election last July, following the death of Mr. James Churchouse, there were three candidates, Mr. Dash being .returned with a majority of 20G. The returning, officer, Mr. L. McIlvride, announces the result of the. present election as follows:—Dash, 2723;
