CONFERENCE ENDS
UNEMPLOYMENT PROTEST
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.)" AUCKLAND, This Day. The Labour Party's annual conference- ended with the adoption of the report of the Policy Committee and of the following resolutions: — "That the conference protests against the Unemployment Board calculating pensions as part of income when determining the right of any of a family to be. given employment under the board's"regulations." "That the conference expresses sincere sympathy with unemployed workers now in prison and with their wives , and families, and strongly urges on the Government that they should be released."
