Mulvoy, formerly Postmaster at Masterton, and Mrs. Alulvey, ara leaving Mastcrton in dbout a fortnight to take up' their residence in Geraldine, South Canterbury, where one of their ' sons has a farm. Mr. Mulvey is an active member of a number.of organisations in Masterton, including tha Park Bowling ' Club, the W.E.A., and tlio Savage Club. He is known, also as a highly popular entertainer at social functions. * Before leaving Masterton to take up his new charge in Feilding, the Bey. Ei 0. Blamires was presented by tha Wairarapa Cricket Association with * framed photograph of the Wairarapa cricket representatives of 1933. Tha association is forwarding to Mr. Blamires a letter thanking him for his services as- chairman of the association, for several years, and on the field. In acknowledging the photograph, Mr. Blamires said he appreciated it very much. He said he had a photographic' record of practically every/association, he had played with. ■' . ' His Grace Archbishop Bedwood will bo 94.years' of age tomorrow. He continues to enjoy the best of health. The death is reported from Dunedia by "Tho Post's" correspondent of Mr. Julius Johnson, who won the Dominioa pairs bowling championship with Mi*. E. Harraway in 1914. Mr. Johnson; who was 74 years of age at the tima of his death, also skipped, the Dunedia rink which won the rinks championship at Oamaru in 1927. He was a member, of the Dunedia Bowling Club for over 40 years, and. a prominent Freemason. Messrs. W. Byan (Tolaga Bay), A. E. Harding (Dargaville), and B. L. Wilson (Auckland) are among tha guests at the Grand Hotel., Sir William Perry (Masterton), Messrs. David Jones, W. Bennett (Christchurch), T. A. Duncan (Hunterville), and R. J. Bell (Hastings) ara among the guests at the Bo'yal Oalt Hotel. Visitors to Wellington staying at tha Empire Hotel .include Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Joy (Tasmania), Messrs. W. E. Sill, A.
