AGREEMENT WITH AUSTRALIA
Although satisfactory progress has been made in the negotiations between the Australian ■ Trade Delegation and representatives of the New Zealand Government, uncertainty still exists as to whether it will be possible for the members of the delegation to leave for Australia this week.
There are a number of ppint3 on which agreement has beeu reached, and ,the documents dealing with these points are being placed before a meeting of Australian and New Zealand delegates this afternoon. On the outcome of this afternoon's deliberations will depend the date of the Australian delegation's return to Australia. , Senator W. Massy Greene, who. heads the Australian delegation, and the Minister of Finance (the Rt. Hon J. G. Coates), who is the leader of the New Zealand representatives, conferred at the latter'a office prior.to lunch today.
