SENATE COMMITTEE
INFLATION OF CURRENCY
RELIEF OF FARMING
(Received April 6, 10 a.m.) WASHINGTON, April 5. In. a partial report to the Seriate on Wednesday on the Administration's Farm Belief Bill the Senate Agriculture Committee recommended the inflation of the currency to cheek the policy of deflation. .
The Agriculture Committee's report asserted that' no substantial, improvement was possible for- agriculture until the policy of deflation was not/only checked, but reversed, and a. substantial sum of actual money admitted, and, if need be, forced.into circulation.
The report, said that- the Federal Reserve system, created to serve and promote tha best interests of the people in commence and industry, while pretending to- be trying to keep sufficient money and credit available, had failed.
