SYNOPSIS OF LAST 24 HOURS.
During the.past 24 hours the weather has been 'fair, to fine in most districts.' Some scattered showers, however,. have occurred, on the east coast south of East Cape accompanying the cool southerly winds which have prevailed. An anticyclone still covers the-Dominion,- its centre this morning being east of Otago. :
