1 Cases at the Magistrate's Court were dealt -with today by Mr. E. Page, S.M. A remand until Wednesday was granted in the case of Desmond Ivan Perrin, a 1 musician, aged 26, who was charged with breaking and entering the premises of Messrs. Whitcombe and Tombs, Ltd. _ "I don't remember anything about it —I was too drunk," said Ludwig Sygund Larsen, a seaman, aged 39, when he 1 was charged with resisting arrest and " wilfully .damaging a motor-car; window. Constable Wood said, .that when he arrested the accused on. a charge of drunk- ; enness in Cuba Street Larsen resisted 1 violently. When lie was being placed in a motor-car he continued to resist ■ and damaged the side curtains. : Tbe Magistrate fined-the accused £5 ■ for resisting arrest, and on the charge , of mischief ho ordered the accused to make good the damage, £2. - For his second statutory offence ■of drunkenness, Larsen was fined 10s. Default of payment was fixed at twenty-one days' imprisonment in each case. Bernard Michael McKcnna was fined £1 and ordered to make good the damage for wilfully breaking a pane of glass valued at 9s. On a further charge of drunkenness Mcjienna was convicted and discharged. A fine of £5, in default one month's imprisonment, was imposed-on James Ryan, ij labourer, aged 33, who was charged witli resisting ConstableI'Speneo in the 'lawful execution of his duty. On a further charge of drunkenness Eyan was convicted and discharged.
