MR. JOHN MCGREGOR
(By Telegraph.) (Special to -'The Evening Post.") ; '. DUNEDIN, This Day. The death has occurred of Mr. John McGregor, -well known in engineering circles throughout the Dominion, particularly as senior partner in the Otago Foundry, with which he was associated for 39 years. Mr._ McGregor wa,i born in Scotland in J859, and served for many years as engineer in various intercolonial coastal vessels of-the Union Company. His' firm built a complete dredge "for the Nelson Harbour Board, and several vessels, including the fine , steamer Earnslaw, 'for the New Zealand Railways Department, for service on Lake \Yakatipu. * .
