A former captain of the New Zealand navit training vessel Wakakura, who became, cap* tain- of Nelson's ship. H.M.S. Victory, Lieu« tenant Henry Frank Edwards, died at Haslar, i near Portsmouth, last month. He had been du«i to retlra on pension this month at the »c* of 50. Lieutenant Edwards joined the Navy in 1898 and was promoted gunner in 1910j During the war he was navigating officer oil H.M.S. Harrier in the Mediterranean, and fly». years ago he was promoted lieutenant. Recently j he was appoined captain of •H.M.S. Victory,' Nelson's famous ship.
