EX-SERVICEMAN'S LEAGUE
The first general meeting' of the- 2*Teirtowii branch of the ex-Servicemen'i League was held' in St. Thomas's Hall, Riddiford Street, onY Thursday evening. Some forty members were, present, ]and ten new members were enrolled. The president (Mr. H, E. Lyons) placed the constitution of the league before tha meeting, and it was approved; • A .social committee was formed witji the following as members:—Messrs. Car*' lisle; James, rWalls, . Blanchfield, Jago, Nicolson, McClimaiit, and Lord.- It Ava»; decided by the committee to arrange vari«; otis social functions, from'time to time/ and 8 dance at an early date.
