GREAT EASTER FIELD
(By Telegraph.) (Special to "Tho Evoning Post.") CHRISTCUURCH, This Day. Four of tho sixteen acceptors for the Great Easter Handicap are in other races on the same day, True Shaft and JRanelagh being in the Sbekburn Handicap, and Spoon and Mount Boa being in the Courtenay Handicap. Though the nomination of Golden Wings for the Great Easter Handicap was overlooked, he may be at Eiccarton, as he has been nominated for the Courtenay Handicap, seven furlongs, on the first day, and has been:.left in the Challenge Stakes. . . After the Hororata Club decided to abandon its meeting on April 8 as the result of the nominations being inadequate, a move was made with the object of holding, a- meeting at Riccartori on the same day. It was found impossible to carry out 'the idea, however, and it has now: been .dropped.
