WORK ON WHITE ISLAND
Operations for the exploitation of sulphur and fertiliser deposits at White Island have been, rosumed. Two engineers are now visiting the island supervising .the work of reorganisation (reports the Opotiki correspondent of the "New Zealand Horald")It is understood that Opotiki will be the base of operations and that a regular service between Opotiki arfxl the island will be instituted at an early date.
