ACCOUNTANTS' SOCIETY
At the annual meeting o£ the Wellington branch of the New Zealand Society of Accountants' on Thursday, Mr. T. L. Ward presiding, the following committee was elected!— Messrs. J. L. Griffin, S.. M. Hobbs, S. G. Dnlley, A. Marshall. S. E. Lambert, X. L. Ward, and 11. Valentine. Mr. E. A. Keilow was reuppointed auditor. The main provisions of the. recent sales tax legislation were outlined in an address by Mr. L. H. Heslop. A representative of the Customs Department was present, and answered many | questions by members.
