MONOWAI FROM SYDNEY.
The X.M.S. Moriowai, from Melbourne, left Sydney at 3 p.m. yesterday for Wellington. No advice has yet been received as to the probable time of her arrival at Wellingtftn, but it is expected that she will be here on Monday afternoon. She carries passengers and an Australian mail. She will berth at No. 1 south, Queen's Wharf. The Monowai will leave Wellington on Tuesday'for Auckland, and will sail from Auckland on Friday for Sydney. The Makura, en route from San Francisco, via Papeete1 and Rarotonga, is expected to arrive at Wellington on . Tuesday afternoon. She is scheduled to sail-at 3 p.m. on Wednesday for Sydney. . ■
