In getting' off a motor-cycle yesterday afternoon, Bernard de Laurier received the charge from a rifle -he was carrying. It is not definitely clear how the accident happened, but it is assumed that the safety catch had not been applied. De Laurier was picked up by a passing motorist and was removed to a private hospital, where an operation was performed, a- bullet bi'in;r removed from his lunj*.
