SYDNEY WOOL MARKET FIRM
SYDNEY,
March 21.
At the wool sales today 11,790 bales were offered, of which 10.448 were sold at auction, 1394 being disposed of privately. There was very keen competition from all sections, especially Bradford and the Continent. ■
The market was very firm at late rates, and occasionally showed a hardening tendency on fine wools. Comebacks also participated in the demand. Greasy merino made up to 20d.
