"NOT A FAIR THING1
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.)
AUCKLAND, This Day. "We have been promised a visit by the Minister of Employment, - ;b*ut I think it is advisable to wirs him and represent the urgency of his coming to Auckland with a view'to his considering the attitude of local bodies, not only to this matter, but also to other aspects of the unemployed question," said the Mayor (Mr_ G. W. Hutchison), in replying today to a deputation of unionists, which protested- against the new registration forms.
"As a public accountant, I say definitely it is not a fair thing to ask the relief workers to fill in these forms," said the Mayor. He added that he was satisfied that the forms could not be filled in accurately. While agreeing that the unemployment funds should be protected against imposition, he was satisfied that it could be done by a ,far. less cumbersome form than ÜB3k
