RUSSELL—TUCKER.

The marriage was solemnised at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Wellingt6n, recently of Augusta Lillie, only daughter of Mrs. A. D. Tucker, Wellington, to Norman Oliver, younger son of Mr. and- the late Mrs. G. Russell, Wellington. The Eev. E. J. Howie performed the ceremony and Mr. F. Thomas was at the organ. The bride, who was escorted by her uncle, Mr. W. J. Melody, wore a handsome gown of ivory satin cut on sheath like lines, the fitting sleeves being fully puffed to the elbow, and the skirt flared from, the knees. An embroidered tulle veil was held in place with clusters of orange blossom and she carried a sheaf of lilies and sweet sultans. The bridesmaid, Miss Violet >Gray (cousin of the bride), wore a model frock with cape of coral pink floral georgette. Her belt, finished with n hip bow and smart swathed cap were of flame chiffon velvet and she carried a sheaf of coral pink gladioli. Mr. W. J. Syme (Wellington) was best man. After the ceremony about sixty guests were received at the Eitz by Mrs. A. D. Tucker and Mrs. G. Russell. Mrs. Tucker wore an ankle length frock of nigger brown marocain with scalloped coatee to match. Mrs. G. Russell wore a frock of blue figured crepo de chine and angel skin lace. Later, the bride- and bridegroom, left for the north, the bride wearing a frock and ca,pe of nigger brown cavalry twill trimmed with pony cloth to tone- and a swathed turban hat with eye veil. The bridegroom's present "to the brido was a handsome musquash fur coat.
