Mr. and Mrs. G. M. Currio, Kai Iwi, who have been paying a brief visit to Wellington, left today for Palmerston North on their return north.

Miss Ida Corry, England, who is visiting the Southern Lakes district, will leave New Zealand at the end of next month by the Mataroa for England.

Mrs. J.. B. McEwan, Fitzherbert Terrace, will leave Wellington on Thursday for a visit to Auckland.

Miss Beechy Cowpcr, Dannevirke, will arrive in Wellington at the end of the week, and will stay with Mrs. E. E. Tripe, Selwyn Terrace.

Miss Gypsy Mathison, who lias been the guest of her aunt, Mrs. J. B. MacEwan, Fitzherbert Terrace, will return '■to Auckland on Thursday.

Miss Jean Newton, Canterbury, is the guest of Mrs. Cheviot Bell, L&wry Bay.

Lieutenant and Mrs. W. L. Eollesion, Kenya, will leave Wellington tomorrow evening for a visit to Christchurch.

Miss Cara Humphries, Pongaroa, js paying a brief visit to Wellington.

Mrs. Hyams, Melbourne, who has been visiting Mrs. Fred Nathan, Palmerston North, is now the guest of Mrs. Philip Nathan, Karori.

Mr. and Mrs. J. Ashwell, Wanganui, who have spent several weeks' holiday in Australia, returned to Wellington yesterday by the Maunganui.

Miss Sheelagh Gumbleton, who came to Wellington to meet her aunt, Dr. Maddison, will return to Christchurch this evening.' Dr. Maddison, who has been abroad for seven years, will accompany her south.

Mr. Ernest Coleridge ana Miss Molly Coleridge will leave Wellington tomorrow ■ evening for Auckland, and will sail by the Monowai to Sydney and then by the Orsova to England. Many farewell parties have been given for Miss Coleridge, the hostesses being Mrs. R, P. Fish, Miss Edwin, Mrs. C. C. Peate,'Misses Dorothy Martin, Margaret Cooper, Frances Norman, anil Joyce Farrington. While in England Miss Coleridge will visit Mr. and Mrs. Carrington at Cambridge.- Mrs. Carrington was formerly Miss Cecil Maegregor, Wellington.

. Mrs. Tlieo Norriss, Martinborough, who has been visiting HawkoV Bay and Wellington, is spending a few days with Mrs. W. E. King, Ngaio, before returning home.

Mrs. E. H. deJ. Clere, Wellington, is a visitor to Christehurch.

Several- farewell parties were given last week for Miss Paton, Island Bay, who has left for an extended holiday in Australia. The guest of honour received some charming and useful gifts from her numerous friends.

Mrs. E. Murray Fuller arrived in Wellington yesterday by the Maunganui from Sydney, ana is staying with Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Kent, Muritai, Eastbourne.
