FRENCH BUDGET

BIG DEFICIT PROBABLE

PARIS, March 16,
The Chamber of Deputies today commenced the discussion of the Budget which should have been tabled last October. The expenditure totals £583,000,000, compared . with last year's £614,000,000, including national defence £136,000,000, compared with £159,000,000.
The revenue proposals -will come later, but a, large deficit is probable.
