GORED BY WILD BOAR IN
INDIA

CALCUTTA,'March 16.
After being badly gored by a wild boar while on. a shooting trip in the Central Provinces, Lieutenant-Colonel Charles Hugh Seymour died in hospital. Colonel Seymour was charged by a wounded boar, and tripped over creepers. Then ensued a terrible fight between the boar and the man. Seymour was badly mauled before he shot the animal.
Lieutenant-Colonel Charles Hugh Seymour, late King's Royal Rifle Corps, was born in 1874, and" served in. the South African and Great War, where he was wounded in 1016.
